Tinga Tinga Painting

This is the only lion we have now. Mbuka, 60x60 cm SOLD

Abasy Mbuka was born in Dar es Salaam in 1975. His mother is from Kondoa District and father from Iringa. Unfortunately his father Asukile Kiando dissapeared when Mbuka was still new born. Nobody knows what happened. When Mbuka was older he continued to look for his father but without success. He looked in villages, asked people but without success. His father was a journalist in radio Tanzania. . In fact the case of Mbuka´s father finished at court lead by his brother Asheli Kiando. I think if Mbuka would find his father while still a young boy he would be a journalist or a laywer like his uncle. He is a very diplomatic and calm person, unlike the "common" Tingatinga. Now Abasy Mbuka is a Vice Chairman of the Cooperative.

WHY WE LOVE AFRICA

Do you have a photo which explains why you love Africa? There is something special about the continent, isn´t it? The friendly people, the abundant wildlife, the breathtaking landscapes. And many many smiles despite the hardship many Africans endure.
